With over 50 years experience, Mathis School of Dance is recognised for assisting students in developing their passion for dance at every level.

Our spacious Braeside studios are the ideal environment for students to explore, develop and hone their skills in many styles of dance.

Offering a range of classes in ballet, neoclassical ballet, tap, contemporary dance, hip-hop and acrobatics, our classes ensure each student’s individual interests will be nurtured through our highly experienced staff. We also manage examinations for students in TAAD Tap and Cecchetti Ballet.

With fully qualified teachers committed to providing a respectful and enriching experience for every student, Mathis School of Dance is recognised for providing a safe, positive and encouraging environment to build confidence and self-motivation as dancers. Our accomplished students have gone on to demonstrate their love of dance at both a national and international level, performing in a range of much celebrated and well known shows.

Our studio spaces are beautifully presented with mirrors, barres and fully sprung floors to reassure safety at all times.

With change-rooms for students along with tea and coffee facilities in our kitchen, we also provide both an indoor and outdoor waiting space for guardians to enjoy as students complete classes. Additionally, we also have an on-site uniform shop at request of our friendly reception team.
